Activity II – Training of Trainers in Mexico

The Erasmus+ Capacity Building of Youth project “TED3 – Tools for Employment &
Environmental Education Development” has welcomed the Training of Trainers as a second
mobility activity of the entire project.

The Training took place from 23 rd to 30 th April 2019 and it showed the targets to reach together
as well as the innovative TED3 methods to apply for the ongoing Job Shadowing preparation
teams: educational goals definition, analysis of joint non-formal education practices, exchange
of holistic approaches, best practices on sustainable matters, and policy-making between Europe
and Latin America has been on our agenda.
A special, inspirational moment has been spent in the Festival of Youth: our TED3 participants
have been taken to Tepito neighbourhood, a Mexican community where the Mexican partner
worked since 2012.

TED3 youth workers have been glad to experience and involve in the
Festival while kids were interacting and playing different games and taking part in workshops.
The local citizens were curious about the presence of our project. It gave a deeper
understanding of social inclusion within the framework of our TED3.
First results were achieved through non-formal education and youth work: we were truly
connecting and twinning our continents!
